anyone remember i think wildgoose minis from the late 60s i think they did hatchback estate and camper conversions, here is a pic one of the guys showed me the other day :)

I'll get some more on them later on this evening, the guy painting my mini's dad used to do the conversions and own the company, I will see if he has any more photos knocking about, pretty sure he was looking to me to get more information on any that may still be about though

I took this photo of the 1965 Mini Wildgoose from BMW's Mini collection at the 'MINI Plant Oxford Family Day' in 2011......and there was also this rather nice Mk1 Austin 7 Mini on display.

I first saw the BMW owned one at Mini United The rear section is raised by winding some handles which operate a pulley system.
This one with a more conventinal camper style roof was at IMM in 2009.
It's amazing that these campers, especially the one the with the raisable roof, could actually move as they only had standard 848cc engines.
