A bit of progress. Fitted the front 7.5" brakes, took off the arches, and put some 10's on it. Looks so much better.
Time to treat myself to some mini specal wheelnuts!

Nice wheels :)
They do look a lot better. Chrome edging strip would finish it off a treat and give the retro look!

Well, not a minute spent on the van over the festive break, but practicing putting in floorpans on my lad's 1974 saloon:

Love the colour of the van will look cool with them wheels.
cheers. Might try some black minilites as well. Shame the 6J black wellers I have stick out too far (I'm trying to avoid arches).

How are you getting on with it ?
Have you got the engine out yet to speed up the shell repaires on the spit ?

The van is getting closer to the welding shed! Fuel tank, fuel lines and brakes lines off, and the battery cable, in preparation for cutting up the multi layered floor and welding another one in.
I say closer, it's in a queue behind a quick engine swap and paint touch up on a mates daughters hornet. I think the pictures below explain it turned into more than a quick job; it'll be on the spit this weekend!
