Hi all now Christmas is out the way we can get back to what we love most RESTORING  :D Hope my wife doesn't read this post

I bought myself a nice new dynamo but there just not the same as the original one's they don't have the Lucas stamp and numbers on them so i've decided to overhaul my old one.

No I had it done at southern carburettors.

I striped out the rear suspension arms today does anybody know if the number on the arm tell if it's a genuine part.

Blimey i didn't realise how many parts were involved in a dynamo! But full nut and bolt means full nut and bolt :proud:

Nice project.

 

FYI - The Dynamo is date stamped late 1970 and the carb has the very early brass top plunger
