I watched the episode where they did a matt black and blue Range-Rover which they finished in white.

When they took the wheels off for re-finishing, which they put in at £300, the tyres were almost bald.

Then when the re-finished wheels were fitted they had brand new tyres. However, the tyres were not costed in and they claimed a 'profit' of c.£1000. Now how much does a set of Range-Rover tyres cost these days?

That Mk.1 green Mini they did really was a bodge job. They even painted an early engine black when it should have been BMC engine green (i.e. Land Rover Bronze Green).

I'm sure they do loads of stuff that you don't see on film.

1988 AUSTIN MINI 1000 CITY E - LTD EDITION 50TH BIRTHDAY - WHEELER DEALER CAR FULL CARBON FIBRE VINYL WRAPPED - BUCKET SEATS - ALLOYS

1988 AUSTIN MINI 1000 CITY E

This was my brothers own first car, The car is HPI Clear and has never been in any accidents.
My brother has owned this car for a year, as classic insurance was ££££'s cheaper than ordinary.
The only reason for sale is because he now own's a new car direct from the showroom.
The past year in this car has been excellent, completely trouble free and a definite head turner.
The car was by the programme "wheeler dealers" to celebrate Mini's 50th Birthday and what a birthday it was!
The complete car has been carbon fibre vinyl wrapped, including the roof which has the stunning Union Jack on it
The car is running on a 1.0l petrol engine which helped keep classic insurance costs down
The car has only done 9155 miles in total and is still in an excellent condition under the bonnet
The car has leather look bucket type seats and leather look rear seats which have no rips/tears/scuffs
All Interior is in an absolutely gleaming condition!
The car has a full set of un-curbed 13" Superlight Alloys all with Yokohama tyre's, all with plenty tread.
The car is taxed until October 2012, there is test on the car but if it reaches the buy it now I will put a full 12 months on it.
The only bad point is there is 1 touch of rust coming through as pictured, nothing major
Come and see this car, absolute steal for the money, first to view will buy, exceptional motor!

I think they are going to do another one, I saw an ebay add for a project mini a few months back and the guy said in the add that it had been filmed for an upcoming episode of wheeler dealers next year, it was a bit rough im assuming they looked at it and did not buy it, maybe

Or the seller was a nut job ?
