Basicly trying to wire up my pre engaged starter motor (originally I had an inertia type) I've been looking on here for a way to wire it up but couldn't find anything. Do you just move the big wire (that goes between starter and solenoid) over to the battery post on the solenoid then the post you just took that wire off put another wire between that and the big terminal on the pre engaged?

Simplest is to leave the inertia solenoid in place & use it as a relay for the pre-engaged one:

Put the thick starter cable onto the same post as the battery cable. Connect the other end to the screw post on the pre-engaged. Run a new wire from, the now empty, inertia solenoid post to the activating spade terminal on the new starter motor.

Which, I think, is what you said!
