I've noted that I have a member title "Just on Tickover".  I didn't choose this title and I have not found any way to change it.  Can someone tell me how to do so?

Now I see that the title has changed to Learner Driver.  I gather that this may be a progressive naming process.  I'm curious as to how this works.

Currently you have learner driver which is your posting status. The more you post then the title changes..

The only people who can change it are staff members.

Clive, I'm commencing a heavy restoration of my '74 Mini, as I think you're aware since you've responded to some of my postings.  I'm sure that I'll earn an advanced title for participation as I progress.

 

I've restored a number of vehicles ('62 Spitfire, '81 Chevy C-20, '64 VW Beetle, '62 Chevy Corvair and '51 MG-TD).  I've become ever more pleased and grateful at the amount of assistance that various forums have provided.  I must say that I've never seen one as busy and responsive as this Mini forum.  The amount of information and traffic is overwhelming!  I hope to advance my Mini knowledge and to become a contributing forum member.

Spam is not the same as providing information or giving advice as you well know bungle. But just in case your memory fails you:

Spam
1.
irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet, typically to large numbers of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc.
2.
trademark
a tinned meat product made mainly from ham.

the emphasis here would be on the term irrelevant.

OP - don't worry about putting up topics if you need help. Even simple things can be a pain if you are unsure what is needed. In no time you will find yourself helping others!
