Some may remember this story from the time. This is a video of me from about 5 years ago when I was interviewed on local radio. I have posted it on here as to give inspiration for those who are still looking for their babies

Absolutely fantastic. What did you do just turn up to the place it was and flatbed it home or did you have to inform the police that you were doing it?

Yes the plate was D44SBVC on yellow and white(Show plates!) and stood out like a sore thumb on my car. I have posted the video on here to help others track down their stolen minis. Trust me, I know what theses guys on here are going though!!

It was scary, after the tip off we had to venture into a bad area of Bristol. I had two teams. A car full of nice guys and a car full of bad boyz with tools. Thankfully it didn’t come to any nastiness but it cost me the £1000 reward.

Which just goes to show there is no honour amongst thieves. This bloke who tipped us off was In fear of his life. We then called the police.

The wost bit was when the police turned up we were not allowed to touch the car as it would have to be finger print tested and would take 2 weeks at the stolen pound. The part in the video where I kiss baby was the first time I could touch her so it was a special moment.

its always nice to hear stories like this. :D
im just glad mine court fire rather than stolen,
as i could not bear knowing that thunderbird 2 to be out there somewhere.
as i would not sleep till i found it.

i always keep my eyes peeled here in tamworth. and even going as far as getting nosy when collecting mini parts just in case i find or suspect stole stuff.

Fantastic news!

So happy to see it wasn't damaged or worse, stripped for parts.

Are there any repairs to do or is it ok?

I'm so happy for you Rob

Ben
