hi i have just taken the engine out of my mini and gonig to paint the engine bay its got a little serfice rust in pleaces and want to know the best way about painting it up?

wire brush the rusty bits, get some POR15 or kurust on them, clean it, prime and paint! Rattle cans will do the job nicely.

Any seam areas that are rusty will need the thick sealer removing and then do the above. remember to reseal the joint before priming though.
