A small update

I finally fitted the boot lining kit I bought at bingley

Before:

After:

I'm really pleased with how smart it looks!! Really finishes the boot off nicely!!

Any comments and opinions are welcome as always!!

A small update, the car is now taxed again for the summer, but I have been unable to drive the car

When the adjustable suspension was fitted I had the car laser aligned, the laser receivers were unable to fit to the wheels correctly so they were held on by cable ties.... the guy had problems bringing the passenger side arm in, stating that the needed the nut to be cut down further, as there was too much negative camber (perhaps caused by the receivers being put on incorrectly by cable ties giving a false reading???, when the car was taken out on the road it pulled to the left like hell, so the original arms were fitted and it's been fine ever since

I however made the mistake of not having the tracking redone, so the tyres have been chewed, so to save chewing them some more vile not driven the car, so I'm trying to get it booked in to have the suspension redone with the adjustables back on and hopefully it will be sorted this time... If not I have no idea where to start...

Just another little update!

Suspension on the car is finally sorted, feels like a new car - absolutely fantastic! Just need a new set of tyres and some wheel balancing and it will be perfect!

Time to start saving for the engine...

Just a small, probably rather funny (for you guys) update.

Last week the airbag light decided it wanted to come on, so that evening me and dad set about fixing it and in the end it was either a corroded fuse or a corrosion on one of the connectors!

however whilst working on the car there was a strange thud, much like a bird hitting the glass, a quick search and no sign of a bird we continued the work and got the light to switch off! happy days.

The next day my car was blocking my mums in and she needed to go out, so i moved the car, whilst doing so there was a strange noise but i thought its a mini an d ignored it!

a couple of hours later i passed the mini, so see a sparrow sitting on the rear parcel shelf (I was alarmed to say the least) i managed to get the bird out and it was unharmed although it had left its mark shall we say!

so i spent the next 3 hours clearing bird crap off my seats and various other car parts :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx: :xxx:

Not updated this in absolutely ages, not much has happened! I've had a relatively stress free summer of motoring! Only hiccup was a thermostat housing gasket so a quick trip to Dsn for a new gasket and billet thermostat housing and it was all sorted!

Last couple weeks of tax to go, then it will be put up for the winter!

A few jobs to do, nothing major but an exhaust change is needed as the DTM noise is tipping me over the edge!

I'll keep you all posted!
