So this weekend I bought some 13x7 wheels finally off 'Elf is a mini' on this forum (THANKYOU!!) so the adjustable tie rods are to be fitted tonight (if all goes to plan) so hopefully I'll have the new wheels on!!!

Pictures to follow once they're on the car!

First update of 2015!!!!

Just before Xmas I had to replace the clutch slave cylinder as it dumped all of the fluid... Luckily or unluckily depending on how you look at it the offside of the subframe needs a reprint due to the fluid... So undercoat went on last weekend!!! Not the best of starts!!

On a brighter note I've had a delivery from mini spares!!!!!

So I've got a KAD quick shift

And a new exhaust system... I got a specialist components stainless LCB for Christmas so I decided that was the time to get rid of the DTM!!!!

So a twin box RC40 2.25" and a new cat!!!

Hopefully in the not so distant future that will all be fitted... But I have some suspension and some painting to do first....

Until next time!!!

And yes the brackets are on now... Only took an hour to remove it all again put the brackets on, swear considerably and then put it all back together again...

Cracking looking car. Will be interesting to see how you get one with the KAD quick shift. I've just removed mine as I found it a bit stiff and notchy, especially going into second. So I've gone back to the standard setup to see how this feels.

Well I've not driven it test but it's cleary a lot stiffer to use! However the original one was sloppy and this feels a lot more responsive if I'm honest!

Yeah I know what you mean, but especially when cold, it was almost impossible to select second with it feeling smooth. All the other gears were fine.

Treated myself today!

DDE2BAC3-B4A2-4D4C-BB16-40915E088115_zps

From lidl for £12 which was a bargain as I only need it once! Should help me modify these suspension arms to get some more adjustment! Will update again tomorrow I'll either be happy or looking to purchase new arms.. Wish me luck!!

So, wheels are back on again and I now have -0.5 degrees one side and +2.0 degrees on the other which is much better than before and I now have adjustment so this can be sorted on a laser alignment machine

Also put my air horns back on in a different place because of the new exhaust! All starting to come together now!!!
