The picture just came up on Eurostance's website via Google Images.... I'm happy to remove it if he gets in contact though!
 
Back to the topic, thanks for the help so far, but can anyone suggest a blue that is more like the way it is displayed on the top photo? Looking at Sonikk4's picture in the bright daylight, it's a bit lighter than I was imagining.


It has darkened down a bit now much like the picture I took of the car at Beachy Head. The picture of it sitting outside the garage was when it had not long had a respray.

Blue Royale BU 38 is probably close to what you are after, or maybe Trafalgar Blue BU 37

I know Paul (owner of the mk1) is very active on turbo minis. He also has an outstanding build thread for it which is certainly worth a read.

Nautilus blue from the early 80s is a nice darkish blue, looks similar to the first pic.
