For the trigger wire on my spot lights, I used an existing bullet connection on the main beam wiring to trigger the relay. I took a live feed from the starter solenoid with an inline fuse. Hope this helps

Hi, I bought some spot lights ages ago and I've decided to fit them. I want to do it correctly. Does anyone have a simple step by step guide to wiring Wipac lamps (55w bulbs) to the main beam please?

That looks like exactly the kind of diagram I need Iain. Simple and clear! Many thanks for your help.

Just out of interest, is there a particular relay I need to get?

How many lights are you wiring up? A 30amp relay with a 15amp inline fuse is fine for two spots

It's just the two lamps for a little bit of extra help at night with the full beam.

I might have a crack at it tomorrow. Wish me luck!

The main beam wire is the Blue/white for the trigger relay wire
