i find the newer classic minis with the bigger seats to be a bit cramped for me
im 6' but I am used to big cars
but in the old minis with the small seats i think there is more than enough room.

Takes some time to get used to the pedals though, at first you might be pressing several of them at the same time by accident, if you have big feet...

I just over 6 foot, I had a slight problem after driving a long distance regularly. I would get slight knee pain. I fitted seat extenders and it's all fine now.

i fitted the seat extenders and a steering column lowering braket and the driving position improved dramatically, i've also since fitted some seats from a suzuki swift gti and have no problems with comfort even after a couple of hundred miles of constant driving.

It makes it worse if you fit a centre console too, i had to stay pretty much in 4th gear on the way back from Stanford Hall last year, as i'd fitted it at the show and found it really hard to get the clutch right down, you get used to it though.

Tis true about the earlier cars, my Clubby was really comfy with the original seats, its even comfier with the buckets now, just need a column lowerer and i'll be happy.

But overall the position is fine!
