Hi,

I've undone the 1st motion little nose cir clip but cannot get the bearing off the shaft. can someone explain how o do this please?

Is the bearing reusable or should it be replaced?

Many thanks,

Make a note of how the bearing is fitted and which way round the nylon cage/roller separator is.

Remove most of the rollers one by one until the separator and rollers can all come off

Then you can get a socket on the nut, undo it and it will start to push off the inner of the bearing

Then you turn the nut back to where it was and it leaves a gap for the puller legs

If you don't have a puller you can insert something in that gap and wind the nut out again to push the inner a little further wind it in again, insert something fatter, wind the nut out again..........etc etc .Only thing that can go wrong is if you undo nut too far as it could damage the 1st thread due to all the strain being taken on just one thread.
