Mine came from Swindon Automobiles, Dorcan Way, Swindon, SN3 3RS which was a Rover dealership at the time (1990).

Just Googled the postcode and it looks sometime between then and now it was called Swindon Motor Park and sold Citroen (I think).

Now it looks like it is Grange Jaguar Swindon & Grange Land Rover Swindon....fancy!

I found a Ralph Grant & Sons motorbike sticker https://www.ebay.co....aL7w4:rk:2:pf:0 but no luck with the car one - you'll have to get a reproduction one made.

Hi All,

I've still got some stickers left, sold quite a few, might even break even soon!

My July 1960 850 deluxe came form T Shipside in Nottingham. I’d love to recreate a dealer badge or window sticker. Any info or images from around 1960 would be of great interest.

Thanks for that. I’d seen that one online before. Like you say I’m not sure when dealer window stickers started. I had one on a 1966 mk1 once. I think a grille badge would be nicer. The only ones I can find for T Shipside we pre WW2 ones. I’ll continue to keep my eyes peeled at car shows. I always take a look at early Morris minors just in case too.

Ours came from Normand (Kensington) Ltd 104/105 Bayswater Road London looks like it might be a Shell petrol station now. I used to go to the Bayswater Road when I was a kid in the 70's  with my parents on a Sunday as there was and it looks like still is a big street art exhibition, small world.

There was a phase a few years ago when dealers would put self adhesive badges on cars to advertise themselves. Window stickers are fine but that used to annoy me something rotten :goaway:
