I got the mini back on the road after a winter overhaul but I noticed a problem. When cornering right at reasonable speed there was a nasty vibrating noise seemed to be coming from transmission. I did notice the snap ring had come off the inner passenger side shaft where it enters the diff so there was a bit of lateral movement. I've since popped it back in with a new snap ring but I also noticed some play in the inboard shaft as you can see in the attached video link. I assume this is not normal so could it be the bearings of diff itself?

I also noticed when I used to jack the car up in gear, the wheels could not be turned at all but now I can still turn one which results in the opposite wheel rotating backwards. Is that normal?
