Long time no post, not getting as much done as i'd have hoped, working outside means its very weather dependent, if its not raining its too hot or too windy, tried not getting heat stroke by putting the gazebo up, still boiling. Any way excuses over, here's what i've been up to. Forgot to take a lot of pics annoyingly:
Patched up some rust on the seat base:

Made a start on the boot floor:

All chopped out, took ages drilling all the spot welds out etc:

Tubbing the rear arches, cut out loads as they were so rusty:

Had my carbon parcel arrive, peed off a bit, one because I guesstimated the boot floor cut out and left deliberately more material on as its easier to cut more out than weld more in, the parcel arrived the day after i did that lol, and two heres the box, paid £150 postage for this big box, a bit of bubble wrap and some filler boxes in side, yes £150 for this, originally, i couldn't collect as i was away, but because it took so long i could have collected it in the end, so annoyed, waste of money:

Not the most pleased with the way these are, paid good money for them and the workman ship isnt the best, i can say this as ive made carbon parts myself:

A little comparison the 13s on my brothers mini van and the 10s for mine haha:

After loads of fettling and cutting and re welding the boot floor i got this to fit, i wont bond it in till im assembling the car:

Making some patches for the wheel arch, i should have just bitten the bullet and bought new panels:

After multiple attempts i decided to make the shock brackets out of thicker metal as i want them to be strong, was really hard to bed them to shape had to get the old blow torch out:

Used metal from my crash damaged land rover bumper:

One side welded in:

Was going to try and reuse the rear valence seeing as it was new last time this was restored, but it was fairly butchered from where it was fitted before and i wasnt happy with the rust round the mating surfaces so bit the bullet and had a trip out to somerford minis as my brother wanted to take his van for a drive anyway, was one of the best magnum panels ive fitted, only £20 too!:

Trying to make the closing panels as rust proof as possible:

As well as plug welding the valance on i seam welded round the edges to try and stop water getting in the flanges, took ages:

I may be doing this in a wrong way, but i painted the boot floor, then seam sealed it then painted over it again:

I also drilled a small drainage hole in the closing panel and the bottom of the valance as i wanted any water that got in to be able to get out again, i also used these holes to use a scultz gun to spray the inside, managed to drop the tip of the rubber tube in the closing panel and theres no way of getting it out haha.
Also gave the inside a rough paint, will need to take it off the jog so i can do it properly:

So my next job is to repair the circled area, its bad the whole way across and i cant find a repair panel which is just the bit circled only the whole back panel, its a complicated bit the the steps, how do people go about repairing it?
