Iv got a clubman with drums all round and am after fitting discs, Iv been told that I could just turn doen a set of standard discs and use 4 pot calipers but only with certain wheels, Iv currently got black Mambas and iv been told i cant use that method with these wheels, any one know why not and will it work with 10 inch wellas? Secondly the 4 pot cali;pers, iv been told that they have to be a certain type, anyone know what type because Iv been thinking about fitting motrbike calipers because then i could have 6 pot calipers. Anyone know what sorta size the 4 pots I should be using are?
Cheers all

The manbas inside diameter isnt enough to fit over a 7.9" setup (standard, turned down with a 4pot) but minilites or revos will go over them. You need to get the type of calipers spesifically designed for 10s so they fit, they are made it a bit of a curve so to fit. Nice idea with the motorbike calipers but i doubt you would get them under 10" wheels and it would take a lot of fiddleing to get right.
As for wellers, they should fit over a 7.9" setup ok, but also if you are useing the 6x10" wellers you can get the standard 8.4" setup to fit over --> http://www.richspeed...difications.htm --> Bluemini(red)s website
