I did some work on the heater valve of my mini and had to remove the radio. I've noticed that there are 2 wires which are unconnected to anything, and I'm wondering if that is correct, or if I have dislodged them. They are connected at one end to the radio wiring block/plug, but there is nothing on the other end. They are only about 6 inches long, one is brown and one is blue and white. I know it's a bit of a long shot, but does anyone know if this right?

The blue/white would be for if you had an amp or an electric aerial fitted.
The brown, could be the 'mute' wire, which would connect to a phone kit.

So both probably not used, you should isolate them to save them from shorting on anything.

Great, thanks for that :-) I'll tape them up and forget about them.
