Bought this engine off of another guy here on the forum, but then insurance went up £700 before I could buy it so no can no longer fit it to my car! I was looking forward to having all that power but anyway....
The spec of the engine is:
Standard short engine from a 1990 Mini Cooper RSP with 50,000 miles.
Mini Sport stage 2 (fast road) head, ported and polished. (cost £550)
1.5 roller tip rockers (cost £170)
rebuilt gearbox at my local Mini specialist, Moorview Mini's. (cost £200 )
new clutch fitted cost £70 .
All seals, gaskets etc were changed when all this work was done. It does not leak oil or water
New water pump
New alternator
new radiator
new distributor
HT leads and spark plugs.
rebuilt carburettor
I can also supply the front subframe it came from.
It was tuned at minispeed producing 81 bhp, this was with a manifold LCB exhaust manifold, Y piece and RC40 exhaust system.
Looking for around £1000 but open to offers.
