Hi all.
I'm just about the replace my headlighs and my dash lights as the suck!

I have a two clock cluster on an 88 plate. I'm 99% sure that means I need 501 bulbs. Can anyone confirm that ?
My main question is...there are so many on eBay ranging in price, what ones are actually nice and bright ?

LED headlights are quite pricey!!!:  http://www.carbuilde...alth-headlamp-7

You mean the lights in the dash?  They're mostly down as 501 or sometimes W5W.

Don't change the alternator charging warning light to LED. It forms part of the charging circuit iirc - the others you can though.

Regarding headlights. Have a look at Osram night breaker plus. What actual headlights do you have fitted?

Sorry i didn't make that clear guys. I'm just looking at changingy dash cluster bulbs. There are just so many on the market I don't know what ones are good . Some have one led some have 4+
Will these longer ones fit ?

I've ordered some osram night breaker unlimited. So they should work fine.

A mate of mine used the 4+1SMD T10 ones on his dash, they look awesome and are a fair bit brighter than a standard single LED.

Those should be fine. As above though, don't change the charge light and be aware that they are polarity specific

I think I'm being really daft here but what side is the charge light ? I can't find the answer in my Haynes . And my dash is apart so I can't turn the key and see hahah
Is the the light under the fuel gauge or the temp ?
