Hi all I have recently come to own a 1977 mini clubman estate which I like the title above didn't plan to own. I had my vw t4 van up for sale or swaps and have a fee silly offers and then this. I jumped at the chance and shouldn't have sold my last estate.

So here goes I plan to get it looking nice with some retro touches, and I will use this as my mini for now as the t4 sucked all my savings for mini jap mini sidewalk.....

Well here are some pics of when I first got him .... let me no what you think, firstly this car was worse than I thought but getting there...

First things a tidy up and respray. You can see in the pic how poor the paint almost looks aerosol painted










Jobs I have done so far is change top dash rail
sort some the overspray that is on everything out,
Clean sealed and painted the under side,
Also same inside,
Fitted weather Shield,
Changed so e bits inside such as poor fitted dash has gone, a nicer steering wheel in, etc pucs go come if that.

Cheers yeah it will be going straight on 10's as soon as the body work is sorted and funds allow, i have a couple of sets kicking about... so may use those not sure yet tho.. loads work should be happening this weekend so watch this space.

Hi all some of you may have seen the clubby at l2b it made a full 680 mile round trip there and back with the only issue being the new locking fuel cap broke and was a bit of a mission to get home with quarter of tank and needing to get over 80 miles from it...

Here are some pics of a very quick 48 hr strip and paint so the car is by no means perfect but looks sheds loads better than it did.

Yea I spotted him. Looked ace I was looking at all the clubby estates getting some ideas. Think I'll go a simiular colour but with gold stripes!

Thanks pal :) and yeah it is meant to have the gold stripe like some of the ones in there with it, but thought i would do something a little different thats all :)
