Hi guys just been looking at quotes for my mini as I'll be taking my test on Tuesday (fingers crossed)
Flux direct seem to be the best I've come across so far, they've quoted me £887 under my own insurance with all my mods declared, anybody know of any better? Still really chuffed at that price though :)

Watch out, Adrian Flux have been getting stick recently for issues with their policies, theres a thread on here detail the issues people have been having.

I cant say I had an issue in my first year with them but I would think twice about going with them after reading the thread I mentioned :)

I tried Footman James but you need to be 25 with a few years driving experience :(

It just seems a bit too perfect
Other insurance companies are quoting me 4k+ but flux fordnt change regardless of how many mods I declare, I just feel as though the website is broke haha

You might find that as soon a you press 'Buy' it is referred and the premium will change.

Many of the online systems give a generic quote and then the broker will fine tune it before the policy is issued.

I used Carole Nash, and they were really helpful, but I'm not sure what they are like for new drivers.

Definitely worth spending a couple of hours checking around to save what could be hundreds of pounds in your case.

Hi Reece
Please feel free to try our scheme. The quote you've had does sound very cheap but at least we can offer you a quote from an alternative 'car club' insurer :)

Mods are fine with us on everyday policies. We cover them on a like for like basis.
It's only Classic policies where we aren't keen on mods.
