has anybody read the article on the replica 33EJB works car built by an Irishman it was stunning and the poor Man passed away shortly after seeing Paddy drive it at the gala.....R.I.P Grahan its a beautifull mini.......

Bought it yesterday, and scanned the article for refrence.... I love that the car now belongs to Paddy Hopkirk, also they restored it to the 1964 condition so correct wheels and correct steering wheel...

 

Short of someone building a faithful replica of 621 AOF it has to be the ultimate replica

Graham McConnell was a legend. Fantastic build. They drove it in a public cavalcade from Stormont to the big titanic museum. Ari Vatanen, Jimmy McCrea, John Watson (Belfast F1 driver) and a lot of big local motor sport names were in the run. On the way they stopped at Belfast City Hall so that Paddy Hopkirk could collect his certificate for freedom of the city. They had given it to him 50 years earlier and hadn't handed over the paperwork.

Actually it's not... it's the June 2014 issue (not May) if anyone else is interested.

 

which was out for may all mags are a month ahead...lol
