Hi

I have fitted a new inner wing (Heritage) and also a complete floor pan will sills attached.

the problem I have is the outer sill does not meet the inner wing. the inner wing fitted ok the door hinge holes matched up also with suspension mounts, the outer lip was ok but now with the floor in this is the result, the floor was fitted using a rear jig and measurements and is in the same place as the old one

the drivers side I did a inner wing repair (Magnum panel ) and this is still out, by about the same. the floor fitted to the old door steps fine level both sides not sure what to do.

any advise or photos of the area being repaired

thanks

trev

Something is definitely amiss there. Was the floor a complete one piece replacement including crossmember??

The inners are spot on there and also along the door step.

the floor went in too straight forward looking back now.

Have those door steps been replaced in the past??

Other than that Trev i'm a bit stumped as to what is the route cause of your problem. To me it does appear that the door step could be the issue and the outer sill.

You may have to take the outer sill off along with the slinging bracket and jacking point. Then realign everything.

Door Steps were original only changing now as in first pic, the original door steps and rear quarter lips all lined up ok. . glad someone else is stumped. would be gutting to take off sills after taking the option to buy complete instead of parts.

Now the other issue could be the inner wing. Can you take some measurements of the bottom hinge holes to the edge of the A panel mounting flange. I will be up my workshop tomorrow and can take some measurements off an unmolested inner wing.

Bare with me and i will post some pictures with measurements shortly.

Ok in this picture the measurement is the centre of the holes to the A panel flange return

and in this one the distance is the edge of the A panel return flange to the inner sill. The cut line is where the inner sill is positioned.

It looks like your problem is the inner wings the hinge holes in new panels can not be used as a reference point for placement. Did you have your old floor in place when the inner wings / repairs were done or did you just cut out all the rot?
