Hi Guys,
Does anyone else think it would be interesting to have a thread with RR results, stating peak power & torque and giving a brief overview of engine setup ? Something like;
Car/Year; Mini City 1989
Engine; Std 998, 52k on the clock, K&N cone filter, Magic pipe, single box twin exit exhaust
Gearbox; Std
Peak BHP: 9000 @ 6000rpm - ATW
Peak Torque: 10000 @ 3500 rpm - ATW
RR used: Jimmy's imaginary one
Thought it could be useful to give peeps a general idea of what sort of power you get from different setups
Will fill in the details properly once I have been to Slarke next week !
Jimmy
ATW = At the wheels
ATFW = At the flywheel

You can realy only to a genuine comparison if you all use the same rr, as you'll find figures can vary considerably....
But.... it's good as an indication of expected performance

at the flywheel unfortunately. lol. it goes like a rocket tho! anyone thinking of upgrading to a 1380 should do it. at the rolling road he advised me to get a new dizzy. i got talking to AC dodd and he's gonna do me a modified dizzy so that should up the power a bit more. he's also gonna modify my needle so it runs smoother
