Don't park your car under a tree!

I had this problem, then when I changed the place where I park my car to somewhere not under a tree, the problem was solved! Bingo!

yes, but his solution of not washing it is easier
so if makes him feel good that he is no helping it rust then let it be

It's allright for you Jeff, you live in SoCal, of course your car won't rust if you don't wash it. If we don't wash ours they'll be gone in no time.

I used to wash, resin polish and wax my Checkmate all the time. (mmmmn, Autoglym) At least once a week. F*****G bird sh*t still scarred the lovely white roof. Big grey spots on the white. Gorgeous.

my roof has gone like that in a few spots but its black so it bakes on in the sun. and can't be taken off. :D i heard that washing waxing and on top of that polishing with good quality products can help to keep the paint in good condition and remove and dullnes in the paint. also get hold of a black and decker quad mouse thing and it comes with a buffing attachment which brings the paint work up lovely when used with a quality polish or wax.

yep got the same prob..

some of it needs a chisel to get off :D

you should see some of the attempts i have seen at work,(bodyshop) people have had to get it off. the have used everything from kitchen knives to "brillo" pads..
you think I'm joking? nah, deadly serious...

G3 works to get the marks off just dont forget to wax!!!! :smartass:

My car had a black body, only the roof was white but I never had such a problem on the black paint. They seemed to be aiming at the shiny white roof.
