I now have a working fuel gauge!

Sender units in both tanks where dead, normal left hand tank was 6 screw sender type which are no longer available, right hand tank is a knock on lock ring fitting.

Needed to extend the wires across the boot, then slightly modify the arm of the sender as it was reading E on 1/2 tank. Now there is fuel just below the sender housing and gauge reads just below 1/2, which is close enough for me!

Still up for sale, but haven't had alot of interest so far. Maybe the working fuel gauge will seal the deal for somebody!?!

Sold the car on Friday to a young lad from Melbourne. Happy to see it go to another mini head! Now, to find a mini once I'm back in Ireland!

Cheers for an amazing mini. its in safe hand with me we had no worries driving the distance of around 1780kms in around 2 - 1/2 days with only 278$ on fuel all premium 98. Was an amazing trip and one i would love to do again but i think i am happy with 2 minis for now just need to find myself a clubby estate and then i think i will be complete. Once again thanks for the sale. XMzgLbS.jpg

Just read the whole build thread and what a cracking Clubman!!  Sad to see it go but I see its gone to a fellow Mini lover.  How did the move go?  Any news on a Ireland Clubman?
