Thanks roofless for clearing this up, it's sad that it's had to come to this.

Not to fan the flames at all, but I'm basically a world away and ordered custom wheel centers based on recommendations of buyers experiences from TMF, it worked out fine for me. They did exactly what I wanted and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. One thing I dislike about the internet and forums in general is posts that will ultimately come to no good, this is one of them. If someone was to ask me if I'd do business again with roofless/sticky fingers I would reply, absolutely.

As a gesture of goodwill & to prove how good your customer service really is,  send some of the correct items you have produced to the customer free & a refund for the incorrect items.

Dave.

When I was a newbie here( still relatively!) I PMd Jordie about some stuff and he was a clearly thoroughly decent bloke.
Sent an order to sticky fingers last week, arrived today. Brilliant.
Don't let it get get beyond the shake an make up stage because you're clearly not different animals. Time for man hugs

Dave.

Are you real! I can maybe understand someone doing the new correct item as a freebie (although why should he) but to offer a refund too is just plain stupid! With the amount of abuse this thread has caused I'm surprised he has come back on here even if it is to try and clear his name! Thats my opinion of this matter! Stuff like this should not be in an open forum. for others to comment on (myself included).

I am one of the happy customers and have no cause to doubt Roofless's ability and business nous but sometimes siht happens. Deal with it and move on! I'm sure this could have been avoided with some tact and diplomacy, but to sully someones name (good or bad) should not be done here. This is a mini forum and being a marque dedicated place gives a wide viewing audience and this should not be allowed to happen.

I reckon if someone has an issue and they intend to spout about it here then the thread should be locked after the comment has been made, after all this is Jordies opinion and should not been allowed for others to jump on the band wagon and keep piling on the dirt. This item is one persons gripe (rightly or wrongly).

Sure am for real, As it is quite clear the item dispatched was made incorrectly, it would do no harm to show that a company can correct mistakes & offer great customer service, rather then get embroiled in a open forum dispute.

Dave I think there's too much gone on to go there. If it was me it would be anyway. There again we're all different.

You are probably correct, I think the company who supplied the parts maybe could have have offered a better solution rather then being made to be involved in this post, sometimes in business you have to do something you really do not want to, but in the long run it is sometimes  best to swallow your pride.

I personally would order from this company as it appears to have many happy customers.

Dave.

Surely if an item was not as described,(to small in this case)the buyer has a right to complain, like any other ebay item you received, that was not fit for purpose?
Is this purely down to peoples attitudes ?,if not surely a replacement should have been in order.

Guys calm down.

Roofless has had plenty of opportunity to put this right and still to date as not done so, even when ive messaged asking to resolve this so both parties can move on.

This is a review section, this is my review. I am a previous happy customer, but this time he let me down and then twisted it, hid behind paypal terms and conditions which meant buyer protection wasnt eligible due to it being a "custom item". I could post the emails, paypal dispute, screenshots etc, but I havent. The TMF team have seen these and it justifys why I put this review here....If Roofless wanted to resolve this at the beginning, then it wouldnt be here, but telling me to take a dive etc meant we werent getting anywhere.

Roofless does indeed have many fans. This is my review, not a opportunity for others to try say im wrong for posting it here because they are "fans" of roofless etc.

If you have a good review to post, then start a new topic.

I think this topic has run its course, 3 months and the issue still isnt resolved. My last message to Roofless went unanswered. He obviously is able to produce the product as per the photo he posted, but yet im still without and hes had my cash.

We'll close the topic on that note, unless its ever resolved then ill reply back in the terms of fairness and interest.
