Well here we have it. This is Geoff my Clubman Estate. Today is project day 1.

 

I've had him 3 months, and now I've finally got round to begin restoring him.

 

He's in very good shape for his age. Dry stored for 18 years before I gave him some daylight. All original flooring doesn't need any attention and all panels are original.

 

I'm planning to fully rebuild him here are my first pics! enjoy!

im just gonna get it solid and ready for paint first. the angel on my left shoulder says keep it standard the devil says do other things im a little torn hopefully I will find a compromise that will do it justice but be left with something cool to drive

Looks smart. In that nick I'd keep it Russet brown. Proper restored classic.

I spent most of my childhood being carted around in the back of a brown clubby estate so will definitely be following this thread :)

Looks like it's good and solid, I'd be going for reversible mods but keeping it original looking.

yes thats deffo the plan I think. Im staying with 10" wheels and  no arches does any one know if you can can buy the stripes for the sides and back still I think its going to take a while but I love it.

Geoff went into storage for the winter he is warm and dry and will be coming out to start work in march hopefully see you next year !
