Not trying to stir anything up, but I just wanted to see what the response would be if I asked a technical question about a mini on a Bini forum.

I'll be back shortly with my findings. :D

Lots of head scratching, confused looks and people telling you to take it to a dealer probably

A lot of MINI owners have owned or do own classic Minis in the past so you'll probably get so sound advice.

Ok, I have managed to infiltrate mini2 forum. First thoughts are, they are not like us. They speak of abs wheel sensor faults and power steering. I shall investigate further and try to lie low before the next step.

Also, I think I missed an opportunity with my name. I could have used 'Iamnotaspy' or 'Bini_is_murder'

Yes - surely the driver should be steering a vehicle of this size - not some electrickery which we simply cannot fully understand.

What sort of question should I ask them? Something about trumpets and cones? Rust? Which oil to use?

Or I could confuse them by saying I bought one 2nd hand last week with 211miles on the clock, and its sitting on these weird 10" wheels. Are they space savers?
