Well nice to know they have found something faulty with your ECU, Meaning you have done a good diagnostics job  ;D

Autotec seems like a pretty good and serious company. That response time is quite impressive when knowing it was sent only friday from sweeden... i'm gonna note that address down somewhere, might need it someday too  :whistling:

Well inevitable I have bent and twisted one of the female connectors which are inside the wiring block which you plug into the ecu.

When I did all the testing 2 weeks ago I actually removed the whole connector. As careful as I thought I was when removing it i damaged the rettaining clip.

Now it doesn't stay in the block. Hopefully a new connector will.

Problem is now, I don't know the size of the said connector. Any ideas?

Thanks for that! I struggled to find the right terminal here in Sweden ( unless I had a vat number and wanted a pack of 5000) I ordered some from England! Hopefully here early next week.

A word on autotech - the even polished the ecu casing!

SUCCESS!

New connectors arrived today. Got it on, plug the ecu in, deleted the air temp sensor fault ( which kept on returning instantly when I tried it before) this time it didn't return.

Air temp read 20 degrees instead of being stuck at 36. Throttle pot voltage changed as it should, lambda was changing as it should.

Idle was still fluctuating, but I had over tightened the throttle cable to compensate to stop the car stalling, when it had the faulty ecu!

Set the cable properly indexed the stepper, and that was that. Perfect idle, no codes, live data as it should be.

A huge thanks to flyingscot, rocket engineer and dbcool.
