I'd love to see all the different types of grille that people have fitted, mods, colours etc.... Show your grille!

I've got two 850 grilles.. The first one is the original one with an NRMA badge (similar to your AA) and a "Long live the queen" badge from a royal visit in the 50's (It came from my grandparents)

And the other was a rusty flaking one I got for free then sprayed white

As nice as the cooper grilles look, just about everyone has one...

That looks really nice, I'd leave it like that. Mesh can look a bit like a chavtastic bodge ;)

That looks really nice, I'd leave it like that. Mesh can look a bit like a chavtastic bodge ;)

 

 

yeah can if done badly. but i did some potatochops and it looked quite cool. plus i got the mesh free from work so thought i may as well have a bash! :D

I'd always thought about experimenting with a really fine mesh or something behind the grille slats, to remove the need for a weather guard. Or perhaps a small panel on the back of the grille that covers the dizzy etc.

standard grill, couple of wipac spots, paddy hopkirk and AA badge in the middle (my bonnets not sitting level at the minute though :/ )

Mk2 onwards, Austin Mini Wavy grille. Going for the complete Mk1 look soon so I'm swapping it for a Mk1 Austin Cooper grille.
