Thanks for the comments everyone.
And it was not cheap, but then it's one of very few unmolested 10" wheel GTs that has been for sale in recent times. Also seeing what rusty barn finds go for (£1500ish), the price of a decent restoration (£5-10,000ish) and what the rare GT parts sell for (£££'s) it seemed like good value to me.
There's a few incorrect parts fitted and some of the details are wrong, but I have seen to most of those already and the other bits will be done shortly. However I will be keeping the twin carbs and leaving it on cones. I think the car started life as a Hydro car as there are hydro pipe clips on the floor and there's a bracket by the master cylinder for the front to rear hydro pipe. It drives really well and is the quietest Mini I have. This is due to the air filter box and the sound proofing in the boot.
By the way, as I can't keep 4 Minis my white Sprite will shortly be up for sale once I have address a couple of issues. It will be on it's original K prefix plate once on the market.

Ben if you go onto eBay and look for mini 1275 GT in classic cars and then search completed listings you will find it. Good price for such a well looked after early GT :)

Trevor's brother??Congratulations Stuart!
Fantastic photos (but I wouldn't expect anything less!) of a stunning GT.
Well done, and finally welcome to the GT club
