Hi

My car is a mayfair 1.3 19992 k reg and the rear wiring loom had a break in one of the wires so we figured we would change the whole rear loom. So we got an AN169 on advice from the shop and we took my old loom in with me. but i have noticed where the loom joins the front of the car under the bonnet there are 9 wires on the AN169 and on the exiting front loom there are 11.

Am i right in thinking i have the wrong one ? all the other points match up.

the only thought i had was that the AN169 is a carb loom and the existing front is a injection loom as they had a couple more wires to the fuel tank ( from what i have read )

Thank Andy

That's the only difference I can think of aswell. You could always wire the fuel pump yourself but it would be neater to have the right loom.

Hi Andy, obviously if it's differnet to original it's the wrong one, i'd take it back and tell them to get you the exact same one as your old one, no point making a problem for yourself if you're paying for a brand new version of something.
