I have just sprayed my radiator cowling and was wondering if my radiator is in a bad enough condition for me to respray it black ? Tried to show the difference in the photos

If you fancy you could get some Brasso and 1000 Grit and sand and polish the tops to a deep shiney brass colour and Laquer 
That would be most Retro of you

I would prefer to keep it black :) goes with everything else then !
