Probably not going to be much of a project really as I think it's too original and clean to mess aroun with too much! Original plan was to buy an estate and supercharge it, but I just don't think this car would suit that.

I bought the of a lovely old chap called Roger, there is one previous owner before him and the car has only done 55,000 miles. It hasn't seen any real action for around the last 14 years! So I felt pretty bad driving it home as it started to rain, but it's a car and I'm going to use it.

There are a few little bits that need sorting on it, it needs a new radiator, new hoses, the wipers only work on one speed/don't park, it has a minor oil leak and I don't like the fact it has blade fuses. All minor issues.

Within reason, I think it needs disc on the front for it to be used every day really, little things like that... I might just have to buy another less original one to supercharge!

Yup, that's way too nice to cosmetically change too much. Mechanicals to improve the drive is fair enough!

Very nice. Make sure you're registered with the Clubman estate register.

Had a little trip to Mini Spares today, nothing much, just bits that need to be done really.

Turns out one of the thermostat housing studs was well and truly seized on, but seized into the housing, not cylinder head! Little bit unsuspected!

Finally got it off, although I had to re-tap the thread as it was a bit messy, but all re-fitted now and I'm pretty confident it'll be water tight!

Pretty much how it got left this evening after I got fed up with trying to puzzle together the radiator cowling, fan and radiator, they just didn't seem to want to play ball!

Finally, somethings wrong here, the wrong car is getting wet! (Also note to self and anyone who may let Leaky passenger in their cars, make sure he does the window up when he gets out the car! Not brilliant finding it open after a heavy shower!)

Nothing much interesting, but the rad is all swapped out now. Broke the horn in the progress though.
