what are you thinking?

 

 

 

if it is they are made of chocolate, locking in gear/two gears is classic signs of them about to die. end casing on the clutch side normally goes where the bearing is fitted in.

 

fingers crossed it's not that but ifit is at least they are cheap and easy to replace.

At least you've got an engine hoist if you need it

Ill pop out in it when i can be arsed and see what it's like today.

 

I had to pop out twice more last night after it had misbehaved and it was fine both times.

Just flew through this years MOT with no trouble at all.

 

Although it decided to play up the next day throwing up an engine management light and going into limp mode and being barely drivable.

 

After some tests and checks it turned out to be the turbo pressure solenoid so a new one has been ordered.

 

The car is still great though. It's cost me barely anything and the only outlay i have had since havng it on the road is 4 new tyres which i fitted myself.
