Most minis could do with some stickers to cover the lower 3/4 panel couldnt they? I guess they thought they were a form of rust protection!

Those seats look like they've been made out of the same stuff they use for those cheap blow up dinghies you can buy at the sea side. Or a bouncy castle.

They do look very Leisure centre-esq don't they.
My old mate had the seats in his Mercedes 190 re-trimmed blue and white. They looked like they had come out of a 50's diner. He never lived it down.

I don't think you can blame the Rover designers for that one, it will have left Longbridge as a 'normal' blue mini and then the Dutch PR lot went a bit crazy with the stickers and the re-trim
