As above really, I'm really interested in getting a megajolt but don't have the knowledge to collect all parts needed and to fit this, so does anyone know of anyone who sells and fits the complete package? I'm located close to Cheshire but would travel if someone does this, thanks

As far as I'm aware you can't buy a complete kit as certain parts are from other cars plus you'd need a trigger wheel to suit a mini. Unless someone was selling their complete set up, cheaper than buying it separately but rarely happens.

Yep I've been going since 2007, ade is a leg-end. He is very good value and knows his stuff. The garage is nothing to look at but he has the skills! You should see what turns up there, I've seen ultima's Aston db5' , big healey's, track cars, rally cars, grass trackers all sorts. He's isn't afraid of trying anything new and he's kept my car from det since I have had the charger kit put on...

Plus he does megajolt where many won't.

On the subject of Megajolt.  Does it run soley on Windows?  I use a Mac so wouldn't want to have to get a Windows lappy for tweaking.  Also, I've been browsing the Megajolt forum this morning and noticed they were talking about smartphone apps but the last post was in 2010, did they get anywhere with it?

Nope you need a windows laptop with a serial port or a USB to serial convertor.

 

I don't think the phone app ever happened...

one oner thing I never touched mine after it was setup until I added bits to the car that either needed a retune, like a cam. or I added things that I wanted controlled by the MJ like a shift light.

 

Its a set and forget type of thing....
