I have 123 and really recommend it. It has a lot of work in it and can adapt to lots of engines. Recommend 123 to you!!

Fitted my CSI ignition today, was pretty easy to fit and i'm very happy with it. The engine seems to have a bit more torque now but I'm going to take it to a rolling road to get the best out of it. Can safely recommend the CSI ignition!

I looked at the 123 ages ago, loved the idea, very simple & compact, brilliant idea, but what held me back was when I looked at the curves that were programed in to it, there were none that really suited an A series in stock or mild tune. I held off and actually started home brewing my own (another story).

Then a friend actually let me know of the CSI's. The first thing I looked in to was the curves and bingo, they had what we needed. I now have these on 3 of our cars and very happy with them. Do exactly what I want, never had an issue. As a bit of a side note, and as I have a few Minis & Mokes, all with 45D4 dissys, I only need to keep 1 dissy cap and 1 rotor button and it does them all. Definitely recommend, but not cheap.

I do hear that the 123 caps and rotor buttons (Bosch Based) are a little odd ball and sometimes hard to find. They are also rather expensive.

Before buying (if you haven't already), can I also suggest you have a look at the Accuspark Stealth

Combined with a new distributor, it may work out a tad cheaper, but is infinitely more flexible and better optioned than either the CSI or the 123.

yeah I noticed when they fitted a 123 to a car on wheeler dealers that the rotor arm was a bit weird and huge. I am yet to play around with the curves on mine yet but I will take it to a rolling road soon. I have to say though, I am very pleased with it.
