What do you think of the soon to be released OS X Yosemite?

OS X Mavericks for comparison

I quite like it, I think it'll make a refreshing change. Like with iOS, they seem to have gone for the 'flat' 2d look that's currently in fashion, what's that all about?

Instantly looks cleaner and it links in with other devices better.

Looking forward to it! iPad and iPhone both updated this evening to iOS 8 :)

Same :-)

I'm looking forward to the extra integration with iOS devices.

iCloud Drive looks promising as well.

Plenty of bugs too if some reports are to be considered.

There are a few bugs, but that's always the case. These will probably be ironed out with an update very soon.

Loving iOS 8 on iPhone, haven't got enough room to update iPad yet though >_< making some room now. Probably doesn't help that I've got 9,469 photos on it

I updated mine through my MBP with iTunes, then you don't have to delete anything because it downloads to the computer :-)

I've only got about 15mb free on my iPhone

It depends how you install it.  Over wifi, your screwed as it needs the old OS to run to install the new OS, meaning you have to accomodate space for both, albeit briefly.  Hook it up to your computer and it suddenly needs less space.  Clever that.

Its designed mainly for the new products coming out and backwards compatibility means its going to run slower on old technology.  Like giving an iWatch to an 80yr old and asking it to perform as well as a 16yr old.  Not going to happen.

Didna know that, so I can update the missus' iPad by just plugging in and updating via iTunes?

Yeah you can. You plug it in an iTunes will recognise it and tell you an update is available. It means the update downloads to the computer so that you don't need to make space for two OSs by deleting a load of stuff.
