I've just taken out a policy with flux and so far I'm impressed, all contact I've had has been dealt with friendly and professional manner, when they messed up a document request (I sent all documents in then had another email asking for documents id already sent) it was dealt with quickly with an apology and I received confirmation for the documentss the same day. I was apprehensive about taking out insurance having seen bad reviews both on here and other car forums but their quote was competitive and so they get the trade.Avoid, Adrian Flux, they my give a good quote, but have a poor record for customer care, see all negative posts on this site or on facebook.

Unfortunately anything with a cooper badge attracts insurance premiums for young drivers and the mods wont help at all. Have a look at the admaril group as they can do classic car insurance and are usually quite good for young drivers. And have a look at the specialists as well such as Adrian flux, footman James. Its not going to be cheap though I'm afraid.I'm struggling to find a reasonable quote for my son so advise welcome. He is about to take his test. The car is a 91 Cooper, with high lows, new seats, brakes and a cage. Want to and me and his mum on as well ( he's not having all the fun).
Please help !!!!!
