Hi all some of you may remember my mini from a few years ago. Well sad to say, but It is now looking a little worse for wear with the dreaded rust and things.

I hope this is the relevant section for this topic, and I was just wondering in it's current state how much it would be worth if I were to sell it. I have 2 new floor panels and door step panels from magnum with the car.

The rear quarter will need replacing too and the sills as they are over sills, I think the undersills are ok. Everything else should be pretty good as it has adjustable camber front and rear along with heavy duty lower arms and tie bars with those poly bushed. The wheels are revolution 10x6's but stick out because the rear has mini fins.

Thanks,

Moved to valuations.

You need to provide more information and pictures of the bodywork to get an accurate idea of valuation.

Areas are: sills, front floors, door steps, front wing to scuttle join has bubbles of rust, just surface by the looks of it, boot floor has had some repairs, rear n/s quarter panels need replacing due to the huge amount of filler, was there ever since I bought the car in 2005 and hasn't changed much. As I said I have 2 front floor pans and door steps (MAGNUM)

My RSP was about the same as that rust wise when I bought it. I paid £450 but it had no engine to speak of; if you have a decent 1275 then add £500 to the value plus £100 for the wheels brings you around £1,000 :( Its a project car.

Ok thanks for the estimations :) I do still have the minilites and the spots but I wouldn't want to part with them because the minilites are magnesium pre 1967 with the inner groove which are pretty damn rare as far as I am aware.  Yeah it looked really nice about 2 years ago and definitely needs to be rebuilt again.

oh I forgot to mention the engine is a 998cc with 12g295 head (ported and polished combustion chambers and ports) running I think an HIF44 carb from a 1275cc

Wow I seem to remember seeing the pics of this car a few years ago, it looked pretty tidy at the time, but by the looks of things someone had been at work covering over the problem areas with paint and filler. Without the alloys I'd say around £400 - £600, it looks pretty rotten.

Yeah, I can't see people parting with much more than £400-500 for it really.  It's going to need a lot of work to put right.  It looked glorious in the first picture, though

I think anything under a grand for that would be an absolute bargain mines a 79 850 which had a panel rust and a lot like yours with foot well rust and I got mine for like £1500 (but that was with all original panels original interior and original wheels). So I would say £1000 to £1200
