I had to replace my fuel regulator recently, and cant recall what fuel pressure was set last time. I am running Eaton draw through with MPI tank and retro fitted ECU etc with two injectors into inlet. I have fitted new regulator and set at 40psi to check for fuel leaks around the joining points and all good. Will 40 be ok for road or should I knock it back a bit?

Well the base fuel pressure will effect the fuelling throughout the map. Iirc mine is set at 3 bar.

I guess checking your afr on your ecu should give you confidence that it's correct.

Do you have any closed loop engaged?

It's when you ecu can make changes to the fuelling on the fly via feed back from a wideband O2 sensor.

Ah, yes, in that case I do have a closed loop system via a sensor in the exhaust manifold.

So that should take care of any small changes, always worth going of a drive and data logging from the ecu to make sure everything looks ok

Road tested today, everything runs and sounds like it should. No obvious signs of anything untoward.
