This is a genuine 1968 mk2 mini cooper engine and gearbox 

engine no. 9FD-SA-H64

Cylinder head no. 12G 295

Gearbox no. 22G 11

 

Genuine D type pistons, no damage to bores, bored out to +20

 

Taken out of a vehicle and kept in dry storage since the 80's 

might need stripping down as it hasn't been started since removed

 

 

would be grateful for any suggestions on value

there was a one  on ebay  very recently it was a lot cleaner than yours and included the twin carbs it was listed 3 times failed to meet its reserve the highest bid went £290 i spoke to the guy and he wanted £450 obviously to much

dont ebay it. just hold on to it till you get what you think is acceptable. they are very rare complete like this.
