Hey,

I had a pair of 12" rockford fosgate subs only a wee 1000w peak yeah I know they wont ever reach that but the rms value is still high. vibe 6x9's bass (sub style) and some mids in the front running off an alpine amp and sony head unit.

Definatly a head turner lol turns my head if its too loud

what you got in your mini ice wise lol???????????????????????

Got 4 sony xplod 6x9's, 2 in parcel shelf and 2 under the rear seats running off a Sony Xplod head unit and i got a JBL 400w amp in the boot powering a 12" Infinity Reference sub. Is pretty loud, nice clear bass. Im after doing some builds in the front doors or underneath the dash rails for 2 more speakers to make it even better..... :w00t:

Atm...

A single 10" JBL sub
running off a SPLx 450 amp.

A pair of 7x10's running from an alpine amp
and a pair of 4" all-rounds.

This will all be removed, once I get my welding done, and then when the welding is done...

I have over £2000-3000 worth of ICE going in.

Everyone seems to have quite "max power" sound systems here-

I've got something much more simple - 8" sub in boot with about 180wrms, 6.5" components up front (only powered off headunit for now), JVC headunit with iPod link.
Posted Image The gaffa tape is because I messed up the carpeting, and did it all so it would match, is now black so not as bad visually.

Other pics - Upfront Speakers Second Skin Overkill sound filter in boot lid
I still have most of a boot, nice sound although can only get it to 20/50 on headunit before it sounds a bit gash, really wish id bought a 4 channel amp now.
The whole lot is gonna get upgraded in the future after uni.

I mean there is a lot of mention of sony and 6x9's - ie max flower type stuff, more aimed at getting loud than sounding good.

SO..... who is interested in a sound off at a mini show we can do a vote on which one etc ................................................................................

Errrrm more loud than sounding good lol yeah I suppose your kinda right but my stereo sounds good the only thing sony is me head unit wouyld recomend rockford fosgate for any I.C.E. install and som vibe 6x9's and not forgetting the most important the front sprakers with out them it would just be purely rear seat music not good lol dont have to have a mad amp to power your subs i've opted for a low powered great amp by alpine only 90w.

Will try and put up some pice of my install over the next few days.

Keep your installs / I.C.E. posts please........
