Hey all,
Bit of an odd one here so answers appreciated....
I had my amp wired in and fixed into my boot, when fitting my HiLo's the fuel pipe split and filled the boot with petrol, soaking the amp in the process.
I got amp out and cleaned the boot all out and been told by some people that it would be fine to use the amp again if it's completely dry.
I am a little dubious about wiring it in again after being soaked in petrol even though it's all dry now.
Would it be safe to use or is it a bin job?
Sorry for the stupid question but not sure what to do with it.
Cheers
Matt

Once all the volatile organic compounds are gone there'll be nothing left to burn.
Put it somewhere warm for a week just to be sure

It's been sitting in the garage for nearly three weeks now and there is no smell from it. The boot is all dry and aired out.
So you reckon it would be okay then?

Shouldn't be any problems with it now, after 3 weeks all the petrol will have evaporated now.
