Replace Oem Rear Speakers

Best Answer m1santhrop3 , 26 October 2014 - 06:13 PM

After further inspection the paper cones are ripped open on both, I've just measured the opening and it is (surprisingly) only 13cm, so i am going to buy another pair of the alpines i bought for the front. Go to the full post

I have installed a new kenwood dab bluetooth head unit together with a couple of alpine 13cm front pocket speakers.

Unfortunately the two oem rears are distorting, i have set the high pass up to 100 to compensate but this only really works with a max volume of 25.

Please can someone recommend some rear speakers that sit in the existing rover openings which will cope with a bit more base.
