Good base for a project. But don't fit them oversills!!!!!! They are the work of the devil.

Good luck with the resto

Oversills? I thought these where the only ones you can get. They came with the car. Are they a swine to fit? Cheers, neil

You can still get replacement sills to the original spec, which have the all important vent holes.there's a good thread on here that explains why you shouldn't use oversills. They basically rot minis from the inside out!!!!

Breather comes off the top of the tank, and out through the boot floor.it doesn't connect to anything once out of the car

Ive pushed it through the hold at the front of the tank ( below the lights ) i assume it goes into the rear lower valance. Should it go straight through and out of the car? If so, i think im gonna have to get the still out. Cheers, neil

It goes straight down, there is a hole in floor by petrol pipe, well mine does.
